Mendocino County's Trusted Large Animal Vet for 28 Years
Dr. Rich Brazil, DVM, graduated from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and moved to Mendocino County to begin a career in large animal medical care. Our Potter Valley large animal vet practice offers flexibility in service to meet the unique needs of clients, with two forms of service:
-
On-location care with a mobile practice traveling throughout Lake and Mendocino Counties
-
Clinic-based care at our Potter Valley facility
As a trusted Ukiah large animal vet for close to 30 years, Dr. Brazil has built a legacy of excellence, professionalism, and care. He graduated from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, along with his now-wife Erin Walsh Brazil. Both veterinarians, Erin now participates in a consultative role as opposed to full-time work in the field, in order to raise their eight children. An active member of the community, Dr. Brazil is an elder at Potter Valley Bible Church and a long-time coach for Little League, Babe Ruth League, Ukiah Valley Youth Soccer League, and more. Dr. Brazil's practice was recently featured in the film series "Sweat of Thy Brow" produced by Naknek Design (see below).
